Born in Cincinnati, now residing in Atlanta, Keith Smith, aka STREET LOTTO sought opportunity to better himself and focus on a career in music, overcoming the obstacles of the drug trade in his native city. With writing and producing credits with multi-platinum artists, ranging from Daz Dillinger (Snoop Dogg’s Dogg Pound) to Jeff Timmons (of 98 Degrees), left him well seasoned and prepared for his mission to be an example of resilience, passion and pursuit of the American dream.
Street Lotto is a strong, confident artist. His charisma and effortless sincerity can make anyone a believer. His music is a return to hip hop’s early roots, with story telling and social commentary over strong, bass driven “Hip- Hop” tracks with alternative music influences. With the wit and charm of a Jay Z and the vocal presence of a southern Baptist preacher on a Sunday morning, Lotto is America’s new voice, a perfect blend of urban and pop culture.
With over 10 years of hard work and commitment releasing music through his independent label Lotto Box Enterprises, under his #BigGame moniker, Lotto has aligned himself with such brands as Coca-Cola, Apple Inc., Snoop Dogg, CNN, Nappy Roots, and most recently penning and performing the title song for Ted Talks, TEDX conference in Atlanta, entitled “Transcend”, as TED celebrated 1 billion visits to their site www.tedtalks.com. Scoring even bigger , was his feature on the Billboard nominated iPhone mobile app Zooz Beat receiving over 1.6 million downloads.
“Can’t go nowhere but UP from here !”, said the multi talented artist. “I just put my feet on the floor. Ain’t even started to walk yet! With high impact iTunes releases like “The Next Great Mixtape Champ”(2004), “Money Maker” (2007), “BigGame” (2010), #BigGame (2012), and “Hard Work”(2013), it won’t be long before Lotto’s walk is running the game, like a TRUE BOSS should!
